Form-Scaff now offers their clients professional training at its state-of-the-art SAQUA registered, CETA accredited Training Academy in Johannesburg.

The Academy offers various training courses across the complete Formwork & Scaffolding spectrum for all levels of people. Every course is conducted by professional Facilitators, Assessors & Moderators that has extensive experience in the applicable field to ensure the best quality training in SA.

Conducted on or off-site, delegates have the opportunity to view the products in real life applications with hands-on practical training, delivering immediate competencies and lasting skills before erecting and dismantling the various systems in their work environment.

Courses are designed and customised for different skill levels - from beginner to specialist – and done in these groups to ensure a worthwhile experience for everyone.

Form-Scaff offers the following range of accredited training, aligned with SAQA Unit Standards:

Product Training 

Includes product identification, safe use as well as assembling and dismantling of the various Form-Scaff systems such as Kwik-Stage, Econo-Form, Tifa etc.

Good Practice

The course is aimed at Foreman and Site Agent level and teaches the delegate the correct “good practice” guidelines around Formwork, Supportwork and Scaffolding on a construction site.

Beginner Training

This training is aimed at people working on site with the kit every day who have 1 to 3 years’ experience in the field of scaffolding and formwork.

Intermediate Training

This training is aimed at the person who has the knowledge and experience of scaffolding and formwork and wants to know more about things like concrete pressures and wants to expand his knowledge, maybe go on to designing formwork.            

Design Training

These courses teach the Formwork Designer the skills to correctly how to design his or her temporary works. “Temporary works Design” and “Temporary works Design – Advanced” are offered to clients and industry as two 2 day courses. (Pre-requisite: NDip. or BSc Degree in Civil Engineering.)
