-_Super-Stage Scaffolding

Super-Stage, Form-Scaff’s new Scaffolding / light duty Supportwork system is a Kwik-Stage based system which outperforms Kwik-Stage and Ring type systems in every aspect - SPEED / SAFETY / WEIGHT
and PROFITABILITY !

Being based on the ever popular Kwik-Stage system has massive advantages: Firstly, it uses the same Standards and Base Jacks as
that of Kwik-Stage making the investment into the new system so much smaller. Secondly, the ability to convert old Kwik-Stage Ledgers and Braces into Super-Stage, is simply a matter of replacing the end-fittings.

SPEED

The difference in speed between the erection of Super-Stage compared to Kwik-Stage and Ring type systems lies in a number of different aspects such as:

- FASTER
- SAFER
- LIGHTER
- MORE PROFITABLE

  Starter Stub

Using the 500mm Super-Stage Standard to base out the scaffold
speeds up the process tremendously. Once the base of the scaffold
has been correctly set out (level and square) by a skilled scaffolder,
the labour force can simply build on top of that.

  Ledger

The new cast Ledger end-fitting holds the key to massive erection / dismantling timesaving. One person can easily fit the Super-Stage Ledger because the wedge lies perfectly flat on the tube behind the
end-fitting. This stops the wedge from clashing with the V-pressing
on the Standard. The Ledger further facilitates the very fast fixing of
the Diagonal braces.

  Bracing

The “one click” Super-Stage Diagonal and Plan Braces is the fastest bracing system in the world and requires no spanner or hammer.
It further facilitates the construction of unsupported portals in a
fraction of the time it takes to do a similar portal with Ladder-Beams
and Band & Plates.

  Stairs

The creation of scaffold staircases is made easier, safer and faster
using the all new Super-Stage Staircase stringer. On higher scaffolds, the speed of erecting and dismantling the new Super-Stage staircase solution is MUCH faster than the placing of the heavy and awkward
2500 x 600mm fixed staircase.

  Tonee-Guards

The new “Tonee” Guard replaces the current Toe-Board, Toe-Board
Clip and Knee-rail Ledger that is required by legislation. The speed,
cost and weight saving that this one component offers is revolutionary.

  SAFETY

Safety is often hard to tangibly measure, the new Super-Stage system does, however, offer a number of new safety features such as:

Less number of components /m3

Most of the small time consuming products have been eliminated – items such as loose Connectors, Toe-Board Clips, Band & Plate
sets, Swivel Couplers and Scaffold Tubes.

These components often get lost on site, require a lot of maintenance and need to be attached to the system with the correct spanner. On average, the number of components on any scaffold is reduced by
20% when compared to Kwik-Stage and 10% compared to
Ring systems.

Safety Cages

Safety cages can now be created at any level using the new
Super-Stage Tonee Guards. Up to 3 Tonee Guards can be
placed on top of one another in a single 2m high workbay.

Temporary Barricading / Fencing
On-site temporary Barricading / Fencing can now be easily
constructed using the Super-Stage Tonee Guard, Standard
and the Barricading Base.

Tripping hazards on working platforms
Ring type systems offer good circular solutions on the scaffold
structure, but not on the working platforms. Super-Stage now
offers a great solution on constructing circular scaffolds, using
the patented Swivel B2B Connector and Circular Scaffold Board.

The Circular Scaffold Board fits perfectly over the Boards of the two adjacent Scaffold Towers providing a safe and level working platform.

  WEIGHT

The overall weight of the Super-Stage system as well as the
maximum weight of any individual product to be carried by the
scaffolders has been reduced.

Overall weight of the system
The overall weight of Super-Stage is on average about 10% lighter
than Kwik-Stage and on par with Ring systems (provided that
aluminium products are not used in the mix).

Maximum weight of any component to be carried by the scaffolders
The 2500 x 600 Fixed Staircase currently used with the Kwik-Stage system weighs 54kg and a 6m Ladder Beam 61kg. The new
Super-Stage Staircase weighs a mere 26kg and uses standard
Hook-on Boards to form the staircase. The use of Ladder Beams
has been minimised by the ability to create safe portals using
Ledgers and Diagonal Braces only.
